ABSTRACT
Nanocarbons (NCs) have exceptional mechanical, electrical, and thermal properties as compared to conventional carbon fibers. In previous studies, chemical agent has been used disperse NCs in the colloid. The main objective of this study is investigate dispersion stability distilled water measurement Zeta Potential value after using ultrasonic method (physics method). Two types were study, nanotube (CNT), Carbon nanofiber (CNF) with different amounts sonication time 2 12 minutes. field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), transmission (TEM) utilised inspect efficiency methodology. result shown significate NCs. It was found that 57.5 mV, 50.9 mV for CNT, CNF respectively one month process. Moreover, indicates solution good according ASTM standard D418-82. Thus, physical can be further considered a potential when mixed application. Keywords: Nanocarbons, Dispersion, Potential, Sonication, Nanomaterials
