ABSTRACT
MgO/Graphene ceramic composites were fabricated by combining combustion synthesis with spark plasma sintering. mixture powders prepared the reaction between Mg and CO 2 gas. Dense sintering (SPS) using LiF as additive. The effect of temperature on microstructure mechanical properties ceramics was discussed. increased from 900°C to 1300°C. highest density 3.43g/cm 3 hardness 2133MPa obtained at 1100°C. Compared monolithic MgO ceramics, same 840MPa 2133MPa.
