ABSTRACT
The entry and differentiation of lymphoid precursor cells (LPC) in grafted mouse fetal thymuses the emigration explants thymocytes has been followed a system which donor host lymphocytes could be distinguished on basis Thy-1 expression. It appears that LPC invade thymus between 10 13 days rapidly differentiate into positive thymocytes, giving rise to all populations both cortical medullary locations until approximately end first week after birth. Lymphoid enter life only 6 or 7 birth, when they give second generation grows exponentially completely replaces 8 days. All leaving during 2 wk appear derived from wave precursors.
