ABSTRACT
Employability emerged as a “new psychological contract” that may have beneficial effects on both individual and organisational outcomes. The study set out to investigate the relationship between perceived employability employee well-being one hand employees’ intention leave other. role of state contract, in terms retaining employable employees while improving their well-being, was also investigated. Cross-sectional data were obtained from representing various organisations (N = 246). Contrary expectations, structural equation modelling (SEM) indicated no significant well-being. Perceived predictor organisation. Results contract does not moderate leave, respectively. stresses importance fulfilling promises made ensuring are fair continuing fulfil promises. interventions individual-level, enhance workplace, is emphasised.
