ABSTRACT
The distribution of insecticide-treated bednets (ITNs), as an alternative to untreated or no bednet at all, not only directly prevents the mosquito from biting individual, but kills well. This reduces infestation household and community levels. However, barriers may exist limiting effectiveness malaria prevention by these tactics. Objectives study were assess current disparities in access ITNs, what factors be associated with progress antimalaria interventions.This examined intervention resources between rural urban locations assessing percentage households each area that has least one ITN. Demographic Health Survey (DHS) 2005 data 16,823 survey respondents Cambodia explored, examining ratio ITN according various socioeconomic determinants. Statistical analysis was done using Chi-square logistic regression SPSS.Problematic distance distributors, location, poverty all greater unlikelihood possession ITN.In order effectively combat high prevalence, interventions need refocused on increasing accessibility ITNs. limitations this require further investigation into
