ABSTRACT
Abstract Background and Objectives: Broad Autism Phenotype (BAP) refers to specific behaviors or minor deficits in social/communication skills not meeting the diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). The BAP Questionnaire (BAPQ) measures aloof personality (AP), rigid (RP), pragmatic language (PL) of BAP. study objective is translate validate BAPQ into Malayalam, a South Indian language, establish new cut-off scores detecting population. Methods: was translated Malayalam (BAPQ-M), following which it tested reliability internal consistency factor analysis conducted 40 parents ASD neurotypical children. receiver operating characteristic curve generated scores. Results: content validity index ≥ 0.8 each item. Conclusions: BAPQ-M has psychometric properties determining presence among people Kerala, state.
