ABSTRACT
Abstract Empathy is imperative in patient care. Besides enhancing patients’ satisfaction, comfort, and trust, which may facilitate better diagnosis, shared decision-making, therapy adherence, empathetic doctors experience less burnout, greater job overall psychological well-being. In this article, we focus on empathy needed modern medicine. The meaning of briefly explained, along with the concept detached concern. need for care undebatable, but physician emotional drainage, overburden are reasons physicians tend to drift away from it. communicate productive ways. Educators should organize teaching relevantly engage active participation students. Skilled empathic communicators hour.
