ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Objectives: This article describes novel magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-compatible focused ultrasound robotic systems and agar-based MRI-compatible ultrasonic phantoms mimicking bone. Materials Methods: All the were developed using three-dimensional (3D) printing technology plastic material. The tissue surrounding bone in was mimicked solutions. Results: presents MRI-guided for brain, prostate, gynecological targets. It also reports on breast, bone, motion. Conclusions: popular 3D serves a major role surgery because can be developed. In addition, used to develop MR-compatible that include structures testing safety efficacy of applications. have been evaluated MRI environment either materials or animals.
