Family physicians' knowledge and awareness regarding oral health: A survey

Oral health is an important component of general health. The World Health Organization has highly recommended the integration oral promotion into care. In majority cases, patients visit their physicians with simultaneous and systemic complaints, primary complaints are more frequently encountered. Therefore, care can play expanded role within to raise overall patients. This study aimed assess knowledge awareness family regarding An observational (cross-sectional) was conducted among 250 who practicing in Tricity. A self-structured questionnaire (close-ended) prepared by a panel experts English language administered participants. which divided two parts, B, contained 15 questions on Categorization scores done at three levels: low, medium, high. Statistical analysis performed using variance Student's t-test. Males comprised 72.8% (182) population 55.2% (138) participants were doing combined practice (academic private both). Low reported 47.2% (118) whereas only 22.4% (56) had high score. mean score according educational level working profile statistically significant (P < 0.05). results our showed considerable lack connection there urgent need increase various continued medical education training programs.
