Spiritual healing from Iranian cancer patients' viewpoints: A hybrid concept analysis

Spiritual healing is a complementary and alternative treatment with different meanings in cultures religions. However, the concept has not been defined from cancer patients' points of view. The present study was done aim analyses spiritual Iranian viewpoints.The using hybrid method at three phases including theoretical study, field final analysis. In phase keyword "spiritual healing," pertinent articles were searched main databases. phase, ten patients interviewed, two other analyzed. After determining features, antecedents, consequences, conclusive definition viewpoints proposed.Spiritual featured four themes, connection paranormal forces; effective, noninvasive, inexpensive, efficient therapeutic method; way to achieve piece, adaptation, health influenced by cultural religious beliefs. that helps careseekers through forces energies. As findings showed according participants' viewpoints, source such energies divine force healers mediums transfer energy.The supported religion faith key elements Islamic context.
