ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND: The health belief model (HBM) questionnaire for dietary patterns and physical activity is important assessing behavior in prediabetes subjects. Assessing to design intervention that can control development of prediabetes. study aimed examine the validity reliability HBM MATERIALS AND METHODS: A descriptive method was used comprising tests; specifically, content assessed by 10 panelists nutrition public education experts. Meanwhile, face tests were performed 30 respondents, respectively. Content conducted quantitatively with index (CVI), kappa statistics score, along qualitative assessment. test carried out based on Cronbach’s alpha. RESULTS: results showed CVI analysis obtained values between 0.77–1 -5.24–0.99, produced a value >1,5, while alpha 0,821. final recommendations as well including 47 item statements. CONCLUSIONS: found be valid reliable about prediabetic. This instrument could healthcare providers studies clinical practice measure develop interventions
