Coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Mitigation measures and hospital preparedness

Coronavirus disease-2019 is currently causing a world pandemic. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) reported its first case on March 2, 2020. Due to potential rapid dissemination within the public and large probability countrywide outbreak, along with country's experience in battling another similar coronavirus (the Middle East respiratory syndrome–coronavirus), KSA was among leading bodies for swift community action hospital preparedness.
