ABSTRACT
A BSTRACT Introduction: The study describes the outbreak investigation of Enteric Fever in an institution set up Methods: descriptive epidemiological and detailed site survey was undertaken. Widal test performed on all subjects blood culture done few selected recruits. Results: Sixty cases typhoid fever occurred institution. All were age group 18 to 22 years. Of cases, one had complication form intestinal perforation. Two samples out 17 detected Salmonella sp. Fly nuisance unhygienic conditions seen at various places. common water supply through Sintex plastic tank which found full fungus growth while from outside they appeared clean. Conclusion: due storage tanks. high standard hygiene cleanliness be ensured prevent such outbreaks.
