ABSTRACT
Background/Aims: The diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is often delayed due to misdiagnosing patients with irritable syndrome (IBS), mostly because the under-recognition high-risk features. red flag score (RFS) has been recently developed identify higher risk IBD rather than IBS. aim this study estimate prevalence features, according RFS, among diagnosed IBS who would consequently be candidates for ileocolonoscopic evaluation. Patients and Methods: Adult seen at general medicine clinic were recruited surveyed using RFS. Clinical demographic data collected. defined as a RFS >5, was calculated.
