ABSTRACT
Purpose:The aim of this study was to evaluate the outcome ureter stones with expectant management and clinical factors associated stone passage in Koreans. Materials Methods:We reviewed charts patients who visited emergency room or urological office our institution acute renal colic between 2001 2008.A total 656 formers were enrolled had decided be treated by management.Clinical data such as gender, age, size location stone, body mass index, previous history analyzed find related spontaneous stones.Results: Of stones, 566 (86.3%) spontaneously expelled.Mean duration follow-up 17.5 days (range, 1 100 days).Mean time 6.8 for less than 2 mm size, 12.6 4 mm, 14.8 6 21.8 8 (p<0.001).The cumulative rate 55.3% 7 days, 73.7% 14 88.5% 28 97.7% 60 after first attack.A 90 (13.7%) required interventions because symptom relapse deterioration that (each, p<0.001).The more proximal larger chance p<0.001).Conclusions: Size are most important predicting stone.If a patient has distal it is acceptable urologist observe months.
