ABSTRACT
Exosomes are considered important "messengers" between cells and their cargo, some of the miRNAs composing cargo may be involved in oncogenic activity. Exosomal miRNA423-5p (Ex-miRNA423-5p) is upregulated gastric cancer associated with its poor prognosis. However, role exosome-derived papillary thyroid (PTC) still unclear needs further study. In our work, we found that level Ex-miRNA423-5p was significantly increased serum PTC patients compared normal healthy people, vitro, demonstrated entered through exosomes from cell supernatant. Functional experiments overexpression mimics migration invasion, while silencing TPC-1 inhibited invasion vitro. These findings indicate Ex- might serve as a potential tumor marker; thus, represent approach against PTC.
