Our Hantaan Virus Became a New Family, Hantaviridae in the Classification of Order Bunyavirales. It will Remain as a History of Virology

In February 2019, the order Bunyavirales, previously family Bunyaviridae, was amended by new of 10 families including Hantaviridae family, and now accepted International Committee on Taxonomy Viruses (ICTV). is a prototype virus species Hantaan orthohantavirus. The divided into four subfamilies Mammantavirinae, Repantavirinae, Actantavirinae Agantavirinae. subfamily Mammantavirinae genera Orthohantavirus, Loanvirus, Mobatvirus Thottimvirus. Hantavirus have been found in Korea three Orthohantaviruses (Hantaan orthohantavirus, Seoul orthohantavirus Jeju orthohantavirus) one Thottimvirus (Imjin thottimvirus).
