OBJECTIVESCardiovascular diseases are a leading cause of mortality worldwide, and acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is particularly fatal condition. We evaluated the incidence case fatality rates AMI in Korea from 2011 to 2020. METHODSWe utilized data National Health Insurance Services (NHIS) calculate crude, age-standardized, age-specific rates, along with 30-day 1-year Age-standardized were determined using direct standardization 2005 population.
