ABSTRACT
Air pollution due to PM2.5 is of public concern in Korea. Ambient can penetrate indoors through the building envelope, affecting indoor concentrations. Most people stay for approximately 80% every day, implying that their primary exposure could be determined by air. This study aims investigate infiltration ambient envelop apartment housing units The on-site test method, using a blower-door depressurization procedure, was suggested order maintain an identical indoor-outdoor pressure difference among tests. On-site experiments were conducted 11 estimate factors. results showed average factor all 0.65 ± 0.13 (average standard deviation), with minimum 0.38 and maximum 0.88. Furthermore, from relation airtightness data factors suggests leaky unit high ACH50, or specific effective leakage area (ELA), would more significantly influenced PM2.5. demonstrated procedure useful assess conditions controlled differences real units.
