ABSTRACT
The major player for catabolite repression is the phosphotransferase systems (PTSs) and cAMP-Crp. Moreover, Cra controls carbon flow in metabolic network. In present research, effect of modulating cra gene (Δcra) on consumption multiple sources such as glucose fructose (as well xylose) was investigated under both aerobic anaerobic conditions. It shown that could be co-metabolized with consumed faster than mutant also implied higher amount total sources, which contributed to highest metabolite production compared wild type strain. Thus, can a good candidate efficient utilization fructose, where xylose repressed by repression. overall regulation mechanisms were clarified based fermentation data transcript analysis.
