ABSTRACT
The development of equations to predict tree height, crown diameter, depth from stem diameter a species enables arborists, researchers, and urban forest managers model costs benefits, analyze alternative management scenarios, determine the best practices for sustainable forests. objective this study was develop regression prediction models age, ratio A. senegal growing in Ferlo, northern Senegal. Four plantations different years old (ISRA, 10 plantations, Ndodj, 8 Boulal, 5 Déali, 4 plantations) were selected. following dendometric variables: at breast basal (at 0.30 m) height base first branch measured on total 489 trees. results suggested that ecological structure year Senegal plantation revealed bell-shaped form with left dissymmetric distribution indicating predominance individuals small height. Allometry showed highly significant positive correlations (p = 0.00) between depth. Positive also found Prediction derived these relationships can be used estimate greater precision. As age estimation, established is not strong as it explain only 49.1% variation.
