ABSTRACT
For a long period of time, space has only been regarded as an adjunct or background other things. As Henri Lefebvre believes that is not pure physical space, but the production social change, transition and experience. It also complex relations together with which are involved in historical process. Therefore incorporating street into framework history, regarding it part same process can we grasp its true essence? This paper based on this to give account how Hankow shaped developed before 1861 role reveals natural environment evolution history.
