ABSTRACT
Dynamics of river behavior plays a great role in meandering, sediment transporting, scouring, etc. at bend, which solely depends on hydraulics properties such as horizontal and vertical stress, spatial temporal variation discharge. Therefore understanding discharge distribution Ganga is essential to apprehend the cross section bend particularly. The measurement not very simple there no instrument that can measure directly, but velocity be made. Velocity different sections time also easy with single help any method, so it required repetitions measurement. near end bank, top bottom layer natural streams difficult measured, yet these regions important characterizing river. This paper deals new advanced technique measured data has been used for modelling bend. To carry out depth Ganga, length study area was distributed into 14 sections, M-1 M-14, downstream upstream done by using ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler). At each section, profiles were independently an acquired from further regression modeling. A multiple linear model developed, showed high correlation among discharge, parameters root mean square error (R2) value 0.8624.
