ABSTRACT
With andromonoecious Momordica charantia L. (bitter gourd) as material, three light qualities (50 μmol·m-2·s-1) including white LED (WL), blue monochromatic (B, 465 nm), and red (R, 650 nm) were carried out to investigate their effects on seed germination, physiological biochemical parameters, sex differentiation photosynthetic characteristics of bitter gourd. The results showed that compared the WL treatment, R treatment significantly promoted seedling height elongation soluble sugar content, B increased stem diameter, reducing content protein treatments both reduced sucrose but POD activity no significant difference. Compared with total female flower number nod ratio in 30 nods main stems. study found could effectively increase stomatal conductance (GS) leaves, improved net rate (Pn) effect was better. treatments, maximum (Pmax), apparent quantum efficiency (AQE) saturation point (LSP), dark respiration (Rd) compensation (LCP) leaves. Fit response curves adaptability utilization weak gourd middle or below, it higher strong light. Thus, suggests is a typical sun plan lower Rd. In summary, concluded has positive growth, improving performance, this will lay foundation for artificially regulating optimum photosynthesis using specific LEDs wavelength, help elucidate relationship how quality influences plant.
