This paper is about short review of earthquake statistics and efforts for mitigation, hazard risk assessment studies in Pakistan. Pakistan adjoining region lying between longitude 60°E to 78°E latitude 20°N 45°N are selected the study as this has a history many large earthquakes because its location intersection three plates namely Indian, Eurasian Arabian Sea plate. based on both seismological which includes recent historical seismicity catalogue well geological knowledge supplemented with available fault system information. In study, regions divided into 14 seismogenic zones. Seismicity each zone studied considering also major cities respective type infrastructure mainly responsible disaster rather than itself.
