ABSTRACT
Background: Human papillomavirus is the most prevalent sexually transmitted infection in United States and associated with 70% of cervical cancers as well over 90% genital warts. Although HPV vaccine appears US immunization schedule during adolescence, a large percentage women reach adulthood without being vaccinated. The Transtheoretical Model's (TTM) Processes Change (POC) construct provides an assessment participants' experiences vaccination central component computer-tailored interventions designed to increase compliance medical recommendations, such vaccination.
