ABSTRACT
The paper presents an analysis of variations in Total Electron Content (TEC) observed through Global Positioning System (GPS) at Guwahati (26?10'N, 91?45'E), relation to the Japan Earthquakes (EQs) March 9 and 11, 2011. For this purpose, azimuthal positions trajectories abnormally increased number satellites epicentre location appearing into Field Of View (FOV) GPS antenna consequent pseudo enhancement TEC are taken as inputs. discusses how results could provide warning alarms two earthquakes possibly one on 8 or other 11 12, 2011 with epicenter around 135?E 145?E 35?N 40?N, that coincides Earthquakes. A projected forecast EQ magnitude M > 8.5 is also made. explanations modifications features abnormal increase purported be result coupling between lithosphere troposphere forced by pre-earthquake processes had spread zone activities far Guwahati.
