ABSTRACT
Lumbosciatica is a frequent reason for consultation in general medicine and emergency with an estimated incidence between 2% 14%. There are several therapeutic modalities, including infiltrations, which very controversial. Based on this observation, we conducted prospective study 19 patients had undergone epidural peri-radicular infiltration; the was most represented infiltration 68.4% of patients, 21.1% them combination both 10.5% cases, only 30.6% infiltrations carried out under radioscopy. The molecules used were Triamcinolone Acetonide-based Kenacort Methylprednisolone Acetate-based Depo-Medrol. evolution post-infiltration pain decreased significantly 94.7% statistically significant difference (p = 0.04). No complications observed our none resorted to surgery during follow-up period except single case recurrence relieved by periodic spaced infiltrations. Despite small size sample, can conclude that techniques still have place management alongside surgery.
