ABSTRACT
11β-HSD-1 expressed in ascending aorta of MS patient with CAD activity and mRNA levels are increased visceral subcutaneous adipose tissues metabolic syndrome subjects. We analyzed expression human epicardial (EA) (AA) patients examined their contribution to the development coronary atherosclerosis. The was evaluated by qRT-PCR EA AA 20 artery disease (metabolic group) 10 non-metabolic without (controls).11β-HSD-1 group (4.1-and 5.5-fold, respectively).A significant positive correlation found between tissue waist hip ratio body mass index, while a negative HDL.Expression CD68, macrophage marker, significantly both group; it 2-fold higher compared group. Our findings CD68 lead us suggest that they contribute atherosclerosis syndrome. This obesity markers strengthens evidence has role syndrome. To best our knowledge, this is first report showing patients. We there tissue-specific associated cardiovascular disorders.
