ABSTRACT
Nondestructive preoperative breast imaging techniques are widely used for cancer testing and diagnosis. This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility efficacy of quantitative diagnosis via thermal analysis abnormal metabolism.Nine hundred forty-eight women who underwent biopsy from 2009 2013 were investigated.Thermal was calculate internal heat source (i.e., tumor) power each participant. The applicability effectiveness our approach estimated using chi-square test, kappa statistics (k), odds ratios (OR).Breast density tumor size considered during this estimation.A q = 0.2 w determined as optimal separation threshold between benign disease. Moreover, good agreement (k 0.837) with gold-standard assessment (breast biopsy) confirmed in 93.2% patients (N 884/948), sensitivity specificity 94.2 92.9%, respectively. The results also found no significant differences methodological accuracy fatty dense breasts (OR 1.194,P 0.524).Furthermore, after dividing cohort into three groups according (T1: <2 cm; T2: 2 5 T3: >5 cm), had effect on proposed method (ORs 1, P 0.724).Internal can feasibly Internal ©FUNPEC-RP www.funpecrp.com.
