ABSTRACT
Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of the airways with variable airflow obstruction and bronchial hyper-responsiveness. It believed that Th2-derived cytokines orchestrate asthmatic response maintenance balance Th1/Th2 plays crucial role in prevention asthma. Moreover, 1,25(OH)2D3, biologically activate form vitamin D, was reported an almost opposite treatment Therefore, this study, we elucidated evaluations vivo anti-asthma effects when treated different doses D validated relationship between Our data demonstrated intervention appropriate dose 1,25(OH)2D3 early life could improve pulmonary function reduce eosinophil cell infiltration rat asthma models. However, overdose might play detrimental effect. Its mechanism may correlate effect on interleukin (IL)-4, IL-12, IL-13, interferon-γ, ovalbumin-specific immunoglobulin E secretion expression p-JAK1/p-STAT6/SOCS5.
