ABSTRACT
A case of invasion the brain a 48-year-old man, native Louisiana, by larval tapeworm is described. Inasmuch as there were no scolices or rostellar hooks present parasite was identified racemose cysticercus which could be either sterile coenurus Taenia multiceps (= Multiceps multiceps), serialis serialis), an aberrant solium different species Taenia. Most removed surgically with preoperative diagnosis tumor. After operation patient improved, and 32 months after onset his illness he working showed evidence recurrence.
