ABSTRACT
<div>For heavy-duty vehicles equipped with automated mechanical transmission (AMT), the control of automatic clutch torque is crucial during start-up process. However, difficulty controlling exacerbated by differences in driver’s starting intentions, changes vehicle mass, and road gradient. Therefore, this article proposes optimization strategy based on intelligent recognition intention, First, an proposed combination data-driven onboard unit (TCU) algorithms, which improves accuracy recognizing intention to start as well mass Based vehicle’s historical state data information, predictive model trained offline using a long–short-term memory (LSTM) network obtain predicted parameter identification results, are then used calibrate computed values TCU algorithm. Second, designed while considering effects gradient resistance torque. The weight coefficients objective performance function adjusted according Pontryagin’s minimum principle (PMP) solve target Finally, training real-vehicle testing performed. results show that can effectively reduce friction work degree impact process, minimize slipping time, improve smoothness driving comfort.</div>
