ABSTRACT
Objective: In our study, we retrospectively analyzed the pathology results of radical orchiectomy operations performed in clinic and to correlate preoperative color Doppler ultrasonography (CDUSG) findings with small-testicular masses (SmTM) negative serum tumor markers (STM). Materials Methods:Male patients (n=98) who underwent between January 2010 2021 treat intratesticular solid lesions that were detected via CDUSG evaluated retrospectively. All terms age, atrophic testis, echogenicity, size tumoral lesions, testicular palpability, STM postoperative results. Results: Expression at least one was elevated 58 (59.2%) preoperatively.STM elevation continued occur 25 (25.5%)patients postoperatively; furthermore, 81 (82.7%) presented malignant pathology. The mean age 39.47±15.20 years, whereas benign higher than (p=0.008).The significantly greater (5.4 vs 3.5 cm; p=0.033).Statistically STM, lower heterogeneity CDUSG, large lesion found as parameters predicting malignancy.Although 9 (45%) 20 STM-negative a smaller 3 cm benign, 6 (75%) 8 1.5 cm. Conclusion:CDUSG plays an important role detecting small non-palpable masses.Especially SmTM, can reasonably guide decision-making phase although it cannot provide definitive diagnosis.Radical orchiectomy, which is traditional approach for all leads unnecessary treatment so testicular-sparing surgery should be preferred SmTMs because risk cancer low.
