ABSTRACT
To address the complex challenges affecting parboiled rice value chain in Benin, an innovation platform (IP) was participatory implemented municipality of Malanville Benin. This study analysed institutional and organisational arrangements that arise from establishment this platform. Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) semi-structured structured interviews were carried out at stakeholder level. Quantitative data collected through questionnaires 200 women farmers, selected a stratified random sampling method. Results showed strengthened interactions between different stakeholders to overcome issues such as standardisation parboiling practices steps; access credit remunerative market; variety rice; organisation into groups. In terms governance, vertically integrated. The leading actors had monopoly on decision-making resource management. suggests promotion approach, enable small producers obstacles hinder good production.
