Nocturnal enuresis among secondary school students in Port Harcourt, Nigeria

ABSTRACT
Background: Enuresis is a common problem in children. The impact upon the lives of children and their families often underestimated. Aim: study was to determine prevalence, causes effect enuresis among students Port Harcourt. Methods : A survey junior senior from 2 secondary schools Harcourt Local Government area done using self-administered questionnaire. Results: total 491 between ages 10-21years were studied. There 248 (50.5%) females 243(49.5%) males. Nocturnal (NE) reported 124(25.3%) students; out which 59(47.6%) had primary NE. NE significantly more males than those polygamous homes(c2=7.29, df = 1, p
