ABSTRACT
In the present study, an attempt has been made to analyze toxicity of fluoride and arsenic on morphology behaviour fish Clarias batrachus.Based 96 hour LC 50 values at 95% confidence limits sodium (NaF) trioxide (As 2 O 3 ) obtained from preliminary tests, various sub-lethal concentrations NaF As were selected for combined testing.During experiment, regularly observed any changes in their external behaviour.Behavioural terms air gulping, opercular movement, swimming activity, body position, general activity food sensitivity.Control remained normal throughout experiment period (96 hour) but erratic, exodus speedy movements found all treated groups. The number gulps (per 15 min, 24-96 significantly increased (P<0.001) exposed Group I (20 mg.L -1 as compared control.A significant increase (P<0.01) min was recorded treatment groups control.Apparent such excessive mucous secretion, discolouration, loosening skin complete loss (head region fins) also observed.Skin more intense subjected I.
