ABSTRACT
This study employs a qualitative approach to get insights into the experiences of research students during COVID-19 pandemic and their perspectives on government higher education institutions. A total 50 from three universities were interviewed utilising inductive thematic method. The engaged in discourse regarding dissemination misinformation social media, hazardous behaviour, need taking preventive measures crisis. They cognizant hazards associated with nursing profession as well inconveniences using public transport residing student accommodation. praised assistance provided by teachers efforts institutes. However, many expressed challenges concentrating acquiring knowledge virtual courses. Students commonly encounter such limited internet access, elevated stress levels, heightened anxiety, financial constraints, joblessness, apprehension losing loved ones. implementation lockdown restrictions had detrimental impact submission theses, hence impeding students' capacity conduct research.
