ABSTRACT
Background: Myocardial infarction (MI) is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in worldwide.A high level oxidative stress linked to myocardial infraction, which results induced damage by free radicals, lipid peroxidation, deficient energy production.Coenzyme Q10 essential for ATP production process. It therefore necessary all energy-dependent mechanisms cardiac cells, are highly sensitive CoQ10 insufficiency caused cardiovascular events. With enhancing cellular bioenergetics as well its antioxidant activity, it may play a role prevention treatment heart diseases. In this study, we measured serum levels enzymatic markers tissue including High-Sensitivity Cardiac Troponin (hs-cTnT) Creatine Kinase MB (CPK-MB) Coenzyme (CoQ10) Malondialdehyde (MDA).inaddition profile 50 patients with MI 45 control subjects. We also studied correlations between above biomarkers. This study found that (nmol/L) were lower than group (10.38 vs 77.33).The MDA (ng/mL) significantly higher (1847 398.3).There was significant increase hs-cTnT (pg/mL) CPK-MB(IU/L) (1406 3.143) (107.9 11.46).Serum increased comparison healthy subjects coenzyme decreased controls.
