ABSTRACT
Nile tilapia Oreochromis niloticus (L.) is a recent re-introduction in Lake Naivasha and one of the fish species that has crossed into Oloidien. This study assessed compared population characteristic O. under different physicochemical conditions water L. (main) Samples for selected quality parameters fisheries data from catch survey were collected between 2017 2018. Results indicate highest conductivity levels recorded 2018 as 2916 ±11.30 μScm-1 282.33 ± 4.33 Oloidien respectively. Mean total lengths 19.1± 1.8 cm 23.6 2.9 weight was 129.3 37.8 g 260.9 81.0 Naivasha. Length-weight relationship analysis showed negative allometric growth (b = 2.526) 2.983; p > 0.05) lakes The relative condition factor (Kn) values slightly lower to main Lake. Differences two characteristics may be attributed observed differences habitat conditions, including pH levels.
