ABSTRACT
This study aimed to investigate the relationship between personal resources, depression, recovery motivation, and mediating role of depression among drug abusers. It samples 50 individuals identified with abuse problems aged 16 35 years who participated in a treatment programme for Cure Care Rehabilitation Centres. Data were collected through self-report questionnaire using five instruments: The Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), Alcohol Abstinence Self-Efficacy (AASE), Life Orientation (TLOS), Commitment Sobriety (CSS). analysed SPSS 23 Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). In path model, results demonstrate that resources are significantly associated depression. finding indicates significant reciprocal motivation. this also reveal importance proposes high levels could potentially decrease possibility motivation an individual. can be concluded exists as mediator addiction. These findings imply mental health issues should considered plan people so individual’s maximised their enhanced.
