ABSTRACT
The hydrodynamic journal bearing is a crucial machine element used to support radial load in turbomachines. research bearings focuses on enhancing the steady state and dynamic performance indices. This study deals with CFD simulations of operating non-Newtonian lubricants. have been performed using Fluent module Ansys 2023. Power law fluid model has describe character lubricant. plots are generated for maximum pressure, film pressure distribution, turbulence dissipation Newtonian, pseudoplastic, Dilatant nature Insights into distribution rates inform guiding designers improved performance. Understanding trends vital design assessment, preventing failures, optimizing durability bearings. Practical applications include comprehensive understanding parameters’ impact performance, ensuring reliability Overall, contributes field, offering academic simulation insights bearing.
