ABSTRACT
Pixelated PET systems produce higher count rates as they integrate several detecting channels per detector module. An increased data flow from the detectors posses needs on bandwidth requirements. We aim to optimize usage efficiency by filtering fly detected events with non valid energies. a SiPM-ASIC readout scheme are being extensively used get enhanced images Time-Of-Flight scanners. These kind of digital specially interesting for application on-line processing techniques given ease access each event information. This study purses analysis DAQ front-end level (on-detector electronics) pixelated readout. In particular, we worked tunable energy discriminating stage. For optimization its hardwired internal limits analyzed system space. explored different solutions dependent or not system's calibration. Results obtained through filter versions confirm minimal resources consumption such implemented at level. Our experiences showed how process reduces excluding stream all and thus improving sensitivity under saturation conditions. Additionally, these experiments highlight setting proper ensure preservation performance, which maintains original time resolution. Under light findings, see great potential font-end so envisaged more complex methods.
