ABSTRACT
We assess the current coverage and future discovery potential of LHC searches for heavy Higgs bosons decaying into long-lived particles (LLPs), focusing primarily on production pairs LLPs with hadronic final states. These signatures are generic in dark sectors where a scalar decays lighter states which subsequently mix Standard Model Higgs. show that handful existing analyses provide broad LLP decay lengths ranging from millimeters to tens meters, explore complementarity between displaced prompt several simplified models. For both singlet doublet scalars, typically leading sensitivity data exhibit strongest runs. further translate impact these parameter space various Twin models, demonstrating promising avenue discovering decays. Finally, we propose variety additional search channels would improve second at lifetime frontier.
