ABSTRACT
Fe$_3$O$_4$ magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) were synthesized by a co-precipitation method using sodium citrate and oleic acid as modifiers. Phase composition microstructure analysis indicate that the have been successfully grafted onto surface of MNPs. The behaviors reveal modification can decrease saturation magnetization MNPs due to effect. modified sodiumcitrate show excellent dispersion capability, which should be ascribed great reduction high energy dipolar attraction nanoparticles.
