ABSTRACT
Clinical-grade wearable sleep monitoring is a challenging problem since it requires concurrently brain activity, eye movement, muscle cardio-respiratory features and gross body movements. This multiple sensors to be worn at different locations as well uncomfortable adhesives discrete electronic components placed on the head. As result, existing wearables either compromise comfort or accuracy in tracking variables. We propose PhyMask, an all-textile solution that practical comfortable for continuous use acquires all signals of interest solely using textile show PhyMask can used accurately measure stages advanced markers such spindles k-complexes robustly real-world setting. validate against polysomnography significantly outperforms two commercially-available wearables, Fitbit Oura Ring.
