ABSTRACT
We select a disk-like galaxy sample with observations of the $HI$, $H_{2}$ and dust from Herschel Reference Survey (HRS), derive inner HI masses within optical radius. find that gas-to-dust ratio is almost independent gas-phase metallicity, confirm gas mass ($HI$+$H_{2}$) shows tighter relationship monochromatic 500 $μm$ luminosity than integral mass. It supports more closely associated co-spatial cold overall gas. Based on newly calibrated between mass, we predict for disk-dominated galaxies xCOLD GASS sample. The predicted show scaling relations consistent fiducial ones in literature, supporting their robustness. Additionally, at given star formation rate (SFR), galactic WISE W3 luminosities significant dependence [NII] stellar surface density. Such highlights caveat using as SFR indicator, findings studies which target star-forming regions nearby accurately based mapping-mode spectroscopy.
