ABSTRACT
The ability to synthesize information has emerged as a critical skill for success across various fields. However, within the field of education, there is lack systematic understanding and well-defined design infrastructures that address mechanisms processes knowledge synthesis in collaborative learning settings. In this poster, we introduce innovation - Synthesis Lab, which aims support students synthesizing ideas from their online discussions higher education classrooms. tool offers structured work-spaces decompose process into intermediate products features two key iterative settings: categorizing peers' conceptual building blocks developing discussions. Future implementation evaluation will make significant contributions both research practice.
