ABSTRACT
The ANAIS experiment is intended to search for dark matter annual modulation with ultrapure NaI(Tl) scintillators in order provide a model independent confirmation or refutation of the long-standing DAMA/LIBRA positive signal low energy detection rate, using same target and technique. Other experiments exclude region parameters singled out by DAMA/LIBRA. However, these use different materials, so comparison their results depends on models assumed particle its distribution galactic halo. ANAIS-112, consisting nine 12.5 kg modules produced Alpha Spectra Inc., disposed 3$\times$3 matrix configuration, taking data smoothly excellent performance at Canfranc Underground Laboratory, Spain, since August, 2017. Last published corresponding three-year exposure were compatible absence incompatible sensitivity above 2.5$\sigma$ C.L. Present status reanalysis first 3 years new filtering protocols based machine-learning techniques are reported. This allows improve previously achieved signal. Updated prospects also presented: improved filtering, testing 5$\sigma$ will be within reach 2025.
