ABSTRACT
The detection method of gravitational waves (GW) using electromagnetic (EM) cavities has garnered significant attention in recent years. This paper thoroughly examines the analysis for perturbation EM field and raises some issues existing literature. Our work demonstrates that rigid condition imposed on material, as provided literature, is inappropriate due to its reliance a gauge-dependent quantity cannot be controlled experimentally. Instead, we incorporate elasticity into material revise governing equations electric induced by GWs, expressing them solely terms gauge-invariant quantities. Applying these cylindrical cavity with TM010 mode, present GW antenna pattern detector.
